Iron Creek museum

The historical village museum has a real boardwalk, a Norwegian log hall, a grain elevator, schools, shops, and a church.

Goose Creek School Museum

Goose Creek School is a turn-of-the-century rural school (used from 1912-1957) that was moved into Town and set up as a “hands on” part of the Sedgewick Museum. The school contains the original Waterman-Waterbury heater and blackboard, large artifacts, and exhibits.

Diplomat Mine Interpretive Site

Canada’s Only Surface Coal Mining Museum, located on Highway 855, across the Battle River from Big Knife Provincial Park.
Follow the walking trail to the observation deck to view Paintearth Mine and the Battle River Generating Station. You can also take in the views of the reclaimed land from 1950.

Alliance and District Museum

Alliance Museum provides a unique look into Alliance’s rural heritage and history. Special features include the Norman Johnston room and a huge doll collection.

Features a fitness centre, batting cages and hockey rink-sized open floor with badminton, basketball and pickleball courts.

Forestburg Riding Arena

The Arena is able to facilitate roping, rough stock events, jumping, barrel racing, gymkhana, obstacle courses, fun days, clinics, cattle events, 4-H, pleasure riding, colt training, or shows.
